When you don’t feel worthy of self-care, it can be hard to accept acts of care from other people, too. To welcome kindness into your life, you need to believe in your own self-worth. Only then can you fully accept that others want to be good to you. So tell yourself you deserve to be happy, and remember: It’s ok to receive as well as give. In fact it’s more than ok, it’s essential. We all need to be supported ourselves, in order to be able to support others.
Close our eyes and remember a time when you were blown away by something someone did for you. It could have been someone close to you, or a complete stranger. How did it make you feel? Write it down if you like, so you can come back to it whenever you need to 🙂
